Fall Yoga is Here! New Session Begins Wed. Sept 4, 2013

The Bells Are Ready To Ring ~  It's Yoga Time!
Yoga brings refreshing goodness to body, mind, and heart.  And, all you have to do is unroll your mat, hop on it, and see where your spirit takes you. Even better -- do your Yoga with friends!  The Fall Session of PEACEFUL HANDS YOGA begins on Wednesday, September 4.

Yoga can create suppleness in the spine and back, tone and strengthen muscles, de-stress the brain, bolster the immune system, and brighten the heart (both the physical heart and the energetic one).  Isn't that worth your time?

Imagine how good you could feel if you did Yoga every week!

Yoga Classes
Mondays & Wednesdays
4:30 p.m. - All Levels (Level 1)
6:00 p.m. - All Levels (Level 1 & 2)

NEW 8-week session begins on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4
and is scheduled to run
through MONDAY, OCTOBER 28.

Classes are at PEACEFUL HANDS YOGA STUDIO, 307 Madison Road (in the historic Silk Mill building) with our partner Hamiltons Day Spa.

SINGLE DROP-IN CLASS – $13

Or make a commitment to Yoga & save!

8-CLASS SESSION – $70 (take any 8 classes during the session that work with your schedule.)
FULL SESSION – $120 (take as many of my Monday/Wednesday classes as you like during the session!)

Guarantee Your Spot On The Mat, by pre-registering. Just email me at jackie@peacefulhands.com

My classes are appropriate for All Levels, including Beginners.

The 4:30 p.m. class focuses on a Level 1 practice, exploring basic Yoga poses from a variety of traditions. The 6:00 p.m. class may also include Level 2 poses, more challenging Yoga for those who would like a slightly more vigorous practice (with modifications available for beginners.)

While Beginners and others are welcome at any of my classes, if you have physical restrictions that may limit your practice, you may find the easier pace of the early class more comfortable for your needs.

I'm also delighted to offer Private Yoga Lessons. Unlike a class setting, a private Yoga session is uniquely created for your needs -- focusing on the many ways that Yoga can benefit the body, mind, and spirit. It is a lovely way to take your practice to the next level, help in the recovery from injury or illness, or simply to explore Yoga at your own pace. If you're interested email me at jackie@peacefulhands.com

Yoga Classes On Break ~ New Session Begins 9/4

Just a quick reminder, that Yoga Classes are on a little "end of summer break" this week.

A new eight-week Yoga session will begin on Wednesday, September 4, 2013.

(More info on the new session coming later this week.)

Thank you all for making our 6th Annual YogaPalooza summer session so wonderful! We had a record number of classes -- 17 -- over the past few weeks, and I'm so grateful for everyone who took some time this summer to unroll their mat with me.  A deep bow of gratitude to SANDY who attended every single class, and to SUSIE and BILLY who each just missed one over the summer.

I look forward to seeing you all in September!

In the meantime, if you need something to fill your Yoga break -- Get Smarter, Get Peaceful, and Get Bears!

On my baseball blog, I recently posted an article that has precious little baseball in it, but included links to online ways to strengthen your brain and to meditate in just one minute.  Both links are well worth the visit.  But, most of all, I encourage you to take a little time in your day, to visit the Wildlife Center of Virginia's CRITTER CAM which currently features 16 bear cubs! They will definitely make you smile.

Find all the links on my blog post here.

Bear Cubs on the Wildlife Center Critter Cam ...
You'll find the link to the cam and to other things you can do on your Yoga Break, here.

Enjoy the rest of the summer and I hope to see you soon!  Namaste!
