Madison & Orange Yoga ~ Spring Sessions Begin March 7

Ahhh ... Spring!

In Eastern science – including India’s Ayurveda – seasons don’t just magically start on a single day. Instead, each season includes a period of gentle transition … when one season slowly ends, and another begins. Here in Virginia, the transition to spring began about 10 days ago.

It’s not just the warming temperatures, lighter days and the happy songs of the birds outside that alert us to the change. Internally, our body just “knows”. We become eager to get out and do something, ready to enjoy the longer days, and take advantage of the special joys and renewed energy of springtime.

Yoga in the springtime shares those same qualities … perhaps we’re ready for a more energetic practice, perhaps it’s a little easier to unroll the mat and practice at home (or maybe even outside).

Flow with the energy of the spring and your yoga will uplift you!

YOGA IN MADISON ~ The new 8-week SPRING SESSION in Madison begins next Monday, March 7 and runs through Monday, May 2.

(NO class on Monday, March 14, due to a schedule conflict in our space.)

Madison Yoga is on MONDAYS, at WETSEL MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY (next to the high school on Route 29). Classes are at 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

YOGA IN ORANGE ~ The new 8-week SPRING SESSION in Orange begins next Wednesday, March 9 and runs through April 27.

Orange Yoga is on WEDNESDAYS at PEACEFUL HANDS YOGA STUDIO (145 Byrd Street, a half-block from the Main Street/7-11 intersection in Orange). Classes are at 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
