Taste of the Mountains is Saturday. Stop By & Say "Hi"

Madison's Annual Street Festival -- "Taste of the Mountains" -- is coming up on Saturday, September 4 (Labor Day weekend).

It's one of the nicest street festivals in Virginia ... and, as always, Peaceful Hands Massage and MountainWood Massage Therapy are teaming up to bring you seated chair massages all day. The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our tent is in a new spot this summer … look for us under the trees in Beasley Park (across from our old spot in the War Memorial courtyard).

So, stop by for a seated massage, catch some great music, check out the local vendors, then stop at the 4-H booth for a scoop or two (or three) of their fresh homemade ice cream and look for other tasty local foods and snacks throughout the town.

(Free parking at the Madison County High School with shuttle buses to Main Street that run throughout the day. There is a handicap bus as well, and some handicap parking available on Washington Street. The Madison Free Clinic will asking for donations for those spaces. Madison is located 27 miles north of Charlottesville on Route 29 and 17 miles south of Culpeper on Route 29.)

Clean, fresh mountain air, a bit of sunshine, interesting vendors and lots of friendly folk. And, did I mention a massage? Why, it's a perfect Saturday! I hope you’ll stop by and say “hi”!
