When the summer heat starts to weigh heavily on you, turn your focus inward to the coolness of your breath and the softness of your heart. You can't control the temperature outside, but you can control the coolness within you. Your meditation of cool and calm can provide great heat relief!
Our hour-long mindfulness practice includes guided, walking, and silent meditation. We practice these three classic forms of meditation so that we might explore the peace that is within each unique method. Beginners and all are welcome ... pillows, bolsters, and chairs are available for all manner of sitting.
When we join together in quiet and peace, our hearts emerge refreshed and rejuvenated!
This will be our only practice in August. Our 1st and 3rd Sunday schedule will resume in September: September 5 and 19.
