Thanksgiving Break ~ No Yoga In Madison Or Orange

Just a quick reminder that there will be no yoga classes in Madison or Orange Thanksgiving week.

Classes resume Monday, November 30 in Madison and Wednesday, December 2 in Orange.

Just a few classes remain before the end-of-year holiday break, so please come unroll your mat with us and let your body, mind and spirit find the inner joy and peace of the holiday season!

Madison Holiday Yoga Session Starts 11/9

Don't blame the holidays ...

It's so easy to blame the holidays, or the garden chores of springtime, or the vacation schedules in the summer, or the back-to-school craziness of fall as reasons why you don't have time for yoga (or whatever kindness you would like to treat yourself to).

Yoga gives back in so many ways ... and all it asks of you is to unroll your mat for an hour or so now and then and let it bring you to a peaceful place.

So get in the holiday spirit of joy and peace by coming to Yoga!

The HOLIDAY SESSION in Madison begins Monday, November 9 and is a mini-session -- just four classes: 11/9, 11/16, 11/30 and 12/7. (No classes in Madison or Orange Thanksgiving week).

Our focus for this session is on finding peace within and easing out the stress that often comes around this time of year.

Cost is $32 for the full session (or $12/class).

November Meditation Schedule

Meditation practice is held on the first and third Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at Peaceful Hands Yoga Studio (145 Byrd Street in Orange, Virginia).

We will meet in November on the following Sundays at 5:00 p.m.:

  • Sunday, November 1
  • Sunday, November 15

Our one-hour practice includes a guided meditation, a little stretching, walking meditation, and then silent meditation. This allows us to practice the varied aspects of contemplation in an easy, nonjudgemental fashion. We have pillows and bolsters for floor-sitting and chairs for those who prefer not to be on the floor. If it's your first time meditating or your one-thousandth, there is joy and great benefits to be found when you join your quiet energy in with a group.

There is no cost to attend, although donations are gratefully accepted to help with studio rent and expenses.
