Meditation in October: 10/4 and 10/18

Autumn is the season of air and lightness of being. (Witness all the leaves rustling in the autumn breezes ... that's how our internal energies can be tossed about as well.)

So, meditation is an especially lovely way to ground and nourish the peacefulness within us. Come share in the quiet of meditation, by joining us at Meditation Practice. It's held on the first and third Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at Peaceful Hands Yoga Studio (145 Byrd Street in Orange, Virginia).

We will meet in October on the following Sundays at 5:00 p.m.:
  • Sunday, October 4
  • Sunday, October 18

Our one-hour practice includes a guided meditation, a little stretching, walking meditation, and then silent meditation. This allows us to practice the varied aspects of contemplation in an easy, nonjudgemental fashion. We have pillows and bolsters for floor-sitting and chairs for those who prefer not to be on the floor. If it's your first time meditating or your one-thousandth, there is joy and great benefits to be found when you join your quiet energy in with a group.

There is no cost to attend, although donations are gratefully accepted to help with studio rent and expenses.
