Madison & Orange Winter Yoga Begins January 5

The Winter Session of Madison & Orange Yoga begins the week of January 5. Don't think of unrolling your yoga mat as a chore or something you glumly "resolve" or force yourself to do in the New Year, and then abandon in a month. Instead, I hope you can find the playfulness of a yoga practice that is a joy, not a chore.

And, I hope that you might take time to unroll your mat in class. Practicing with others can add inspiration and motivation to your practice.

Here's the scoop on our sessions:

** The Winter Session of Madison Yoga begins Monday, January 5.

There are 2 classes each Monday at 4:00 - 5:15 p.m. and at 5:30 - 6:45 p.m. Classes are held in the Library at Wetsel Middle School in Madison.

This is an 8-week session. You may join the session at anytime. Cost is the same as last year -- $12/class or a discounted $64 for the 8-week session (that’s like getting a couple classes for free!) Classes are offered through the Madison Dept of Parks & Facilities.

(A reminder -- if Madison county schools close because of weather, we will not have class that day and will make up the class at the end of the session.)

** The Winter Session of Orange Yoga begins Wednesday, January 7.

There are 2 classes each Wednesday at 4:30 – 5:45 pm. and at 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. Classes are held at Peaceful Hands Yoga Studio, in the Altman Bldg, 145 Byrd Street in Orange.

The 8-week session begins January 7 and is scheduled to run through February 25. You may join the session at anytime. Cost is the same as last year -- $12/class or a discounted $64 for the 8-week session (that’s like getting a couple classes for free!)

As always, your first class with me at either site is free and if you’re registered for a session, you may take your classes at either location and make up missed classes at either location. (Please plan to make up any missed classes during the session, give or take a week.)
