Wildlife Center At Madison County Fair

The Wildlife Center of Virginia, and some of its education animals, will be at the Madison County Fair on Saturday, July 19. The presentation will be at 4:00 p.m. on the Small Stage. This is a wonderful way to learn more about the Center and meet some wonderful wildlife ambassadors (I'm guessing you'll meet a possum and an owl, at least!)

They will be giving their popular "Critters Don't Need Litter" presentation ... a good lesson for all of us!

I'll be there in the audience and I hope you'll stop by, too.

(And, yes, the Bald Eaglet had surgery this weekend -- it was the lead story in Sunday's Charlottesville Daily Progress. For updates on the eaglet and its recovery, visit the Wildlife Center's website at www.wildlifecenter.org and click on the link to the Norfolk Botanical Garden Eagle Updates.)
