The fall session of Yoga in Orange begins next week -- Wednesday, September 12.
There will be 2 classes each Wednesday: at 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. and at 6:00 - 7:15 p.m. This will be an 8-week session, running September 12 thru October 31.
Classes are held at "Be Yoga Studio" on Byrd Street -- in the big green Altman Building on the corner of Byrd & Church (it's about 1 block S of the 7-11). Please park on the SIDE of the building (not in front). Come in through the front doors (next to the clothing store) and follow the Yoga signs.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one (some loaner mats are available). Dress comfortably.
Cost is $11 per class. OR ... sign up for the 8-week session for $64 (the equivalent of getting more than 2 classes free!) Your first class with me is FREE. Orange students may do make-up classes in Madison and vice versa during the session.
Classes are for all-levels; beginners and long-time students of yoga are welcome (and all levels in between). We practice basic hatha yoga and I like to explore and play with many different yoga practices -- including gentle Tibetan yoga, energizing Anusara yoga, and balancing Ayurvedic yoga. In addition, I like to blend in other beneficial practices, including a bit of pilates, tao-ist movement, and tai chi now and then.
Yoga is a wonderful way to bring health, flexibility, and strength to the body; calm the mind and relieve stress; and rejuvenate the spirit.
